Available BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert

Available BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert uses radar to identify a vehicle detected in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-Traffic Alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind your vehicle as you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. If cross-traffic sensors detect a vehicle approaching from up to 13.7 metres (15 yards away), you will be audibly and visually alerted.

You’re at a red light. On a hill. Rest easy. Available Hill Start Assist can help you switch from brake to gas without rolling backward. The system is activated automatically when you press the brake pedal on any slope. If you select manual mode, you must activate the system using the brake pedal and it will hold for up to two seconds.

Available FordPass Connect™ with 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot

With available FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Ford drivers and passengers can enjoy an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot. Select models feature a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, powered by Bell. Up to 10 devices can connect at once, and you can use it to keep track of your Wi-Fi data usage. The hotspot can be accessed up to 50 feet (15.24 meters) outside the vehicle. Now you can stay connected, even as you roam the highways. The 2019 EcoSport includes a two-year FordPass Connect service and a three-month wireless data trial on up to 3GB, after which fees apply.
